Delete Dayplan data without deleting your account

You can permanently delete individual Dayplan tasks while keeping your account and the rest of your planner. This is available in the Dayplan Android app and web app.

Delete a task permanently

1. In Dayplan, choose Delete or Trash on the task to move it to Trash. You can still restore it at this stage.

2. On Android, open Browse → Trash or Browse → All tasks → Trash. On the web, open All tasks → Trash.

3. Find the task. On Android, tap its delete icon labeled Delete permanently; on the web, choose Delete permanently. Confirm the prompt. This cannot be undone.

If you cannot access the app or want to request deletion of other specific Dayplan data while keeping your account, email support@dayplan.do with the subject Delete specific Dayplan data. Describe the data to delete and, if possible, send the request from your account email. We will verify ownership before acting; do not send a password or verification code.

What is deleted and what remains

Permanent task deletion removes that task's title, notes, comments, and linked Dayplan calendar blocks from the active planner. Its subtasks remain as independent tasks. Separate records, such as completed focus sessions or meetings, and your account and other planner content remain unless you delete or request deletion of those separately.

We process verified requests for other specific data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records for legal, tax, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. Residual backup copies may remain under our rolling backup practices. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
