How it works
Get started with a text after a two-minute setup.
Create your Dayplan account here.
Connect your phone
Link your iPhone number in settings. Coach texts over iMessage (it doesn’t work over SMS or MMS).
Text Coach anytime
“Plan my day.” “Remind me at 4.” “Done with the report.” Plan, capture, and log wins from Messages or the web app.
Where Coach lives
One coach, one conversation, in iMessage and the Dayplan web app. Draft tomorrow on your laptop, mark things done from your pocket.
Start with a first pass
Say “plan my day” and Coach drafts one around your calendar, your must-dos, and the hours you have left. You approve it. Coach never books your day behind your back.
Sanity-check before you commit
Ask Coach if your plan is honest. It checks your available hours around meetings and tells you what won’t fit before the day proves it.
Capture without breaking flow
Mid-conversation thought? Text it to Coach and it lands on the right day. Ramble out loud and voice capture turns the mess into clean tasks. Snap a photo of handwritten notes and Coach extracts the tasks for you to review.
Done in one text
“Finished the deck” is enough. Coach marks it done and acknowledges the win with no streaks and no guilt metrics.
Stuck? Get one small step
When you can’t start, tell Coach. It breaks the task into small steps and hands you the tiniest first one. Executive-function coaching, not a lecture.
Plan your day
from your pocket.
Plan what matters, make room to breathe, and follow through with a coach one text away.

Dayplan Coach is an AI planning assistant built into Dayplan, a calm daily planner. It lives in iMessage and the Dayplan web app, plans your day with you around your calendar, captures tasks from a single text, breaks stuck tasks into small startable steps, and runs morning and evening check-ins.
Yes. Text Coach on iMessage things like "plan my day", "remind me to call the bank at 4", or "done with the report". Coach reads your calendar and task list, replies in the same thread, and updates your Dayplan planner instantly.
Coach is connected to your actual planner and calendar. It sees your tasks, your Google and Apple Calendar events, and your remaining hours, so instead of generic advice it drafts a realistic schedule, finds open time slots, timeboxes work, and marks tasks done. It also remembers how you work across conversations.
Yes. Dayplan syncs Google Calendar (including multiple accounts) and Apple/iCloud calendars, and Coach plans around those events. It won't schedule tasks on top of your meetings.
No. Coach proposes; you decide. When it drafts a plan or suggests moving something, the change is visible and yours to approve. Nothing in your day moves silently.
Dayplan is designed to be ADHD-friendly. Coach's signature move is breaking a vague or overwhelming task into short, concrete, startable steps and offering just the first one. Check-ins are encouraging, and there are no streaks or guilt metrics.
No. iMessage requires an iPhone, but Coach is fully available in the Dayplan web app with the same conversation and same abilities. Coach texting doesn't work over SMS, MMS, or Android messaging.
